A dirty or frosted evaporator coil restricts airflow and drops cooling capacity fast. This is one of the most requested AC repair calls we get across Longview, WA.

Compressor Diagnostics

Hard-starting, humming-but-not-spinning, or tripped breaker symptoms get tested with a start capacitor check before any compressor is condemned. This is one of the most requested AC repair calls we get across Longview, WA.

Thermostat Calibration & Wiring

We verify the low-voltage circuit before assuming the outdoor unit is at fault. Techs handling thermostat calibration & wiring carry the specific parts and tools this job calls for, not a generic kit.

Before You Call: Ac Repair Answers

Why is my AC running but not actually cooling the house?+

Usually low refrigerant charge from an undetected leak, a dirty evaporator coil, or restricted airflow from a clogged filter.

Is ice on my AC unit a serious problem?+

Ice almost always means something is restricting airflow or refrigerant flow, and running it iced up can damage the compressor.

How much refrigerant does my system actually need?+

Adding refrigerant without finding the leak just means another service call later.

Can you service older R-22 systems?+

Yes, though R-22 supply is limited and increasingly expensive — we'll be upfront if a repair-versus-replace conversation makes more financial sense.

Do you work on ductless mini-split systems?+

Yes — indoor head units, outdoor condensers, and line sets all fall under our service scope.

How fast can someone reach Longview during peak summer demand?+

Call volume rises with the heat, so arrival windows can extend during heat waves — dispatch gives you a live estimate when you call.
